Continuing Kutiman's tradition of releasing cutting edge remix packs for his tunes, Siyal Music is delighted to present a selection of Five reworks for Kutiman's latest critically acclaimed 7" single, Guruji b/w Majan.
The original tunes, with their hypnotic Tabla grooves, deep menacing bass sounds, and swirling dark, analog keyboard lines, receive innovative musical treatments from five unique electronic artists.

We start the journey with a remix for Majan from the up and coming producer and multi-instrumentalist PANIM (Elye Sahar), who built a genreless Jazzy, Balearic, experimental beat trip that tore down the original tune, only to re-create it in a blissful and organic mood. PANIM is currently working on his debut album.

Next up is a completely different version of the same tune, Majan, by Ziv, an ultra-talented producer, songwriter and singer that released a few wonderful EP's, and is currently finishing the last touches on her debut full length album. Ziv ups the tempo to create a Cosmic Nu Disco experience with hints of New Wave and Electro, topped with her ethereal vocals shining through the mix.

Following we find a brilliant remix of Guruji by Autarkic, aka Nadav Spiegel, a promising songwriter and producer, with previous releases on esteemed dance music labels such as Optimo, Golf Channel, Disco Halal and LIfe & Death esu, amongst others. Autarkic blesses the track with his lyrical club sound, combining House and Breakbeat with a fierce Tabla loop by Kutiman.

Next in line is Kadosh, owner of the Frau Blau record label, with past releases on Bedrock and Upon You, who brings his powerful club-ready house vibes to Guruji, adding some melodic and anthemic breakdowns that are guaranteed to smash many modern dancefloors.
Last remix chooses a more meditative path. Berlin based producer Weedo (partner in the Soulico DJ crew, and founder of the Footwork club night and record label Wavvy), deconstructs Guruji into a mystical, bass heavy, futuristic Acid-Dub tune, complete with speaker shattering wobbles and endless echoes.

This impressive lineup of producers on the new EP, joins an eclectic list of previous artists who remixed Kutiman including: Red Axes, Free The Robots, Rejoicer, DJ Day, Doctor Flake, Taso, Obas Nenor, Kalbata & Mixmonster, Antonio Maiovvi, Tommy Vee, Truss Rod, Altered Tapes, Gene Dudley, Deep Chills, Spada, Burak Yeter, Omri Smadar, Garden City Movement, Copia Doble Systema, Jim Dunloop & Grzly Adams.
